Interesting

The book holds some very good insights and I was able to grab good points on postmodern kind of church. However, I think that the book is biblically weak. The author goes around and round on the word "aqua" and fishes many scriptures that contains the word water, sea, sea, river and alike to base his point, but most of them used out of context and hermeneutically unappropriated. Withal, it can be an interesting reading.

Amazing Update

Len updates a book whose ideas he proposed ten years ago. The result is a fresh and stimulating proposal. The style is classic Sweet: insights, stories, anecdotes, summaries, and questions. The book sometimes feels like a cattle prod jolting new thoughts. Other times, the insights Sweet proposes have the allure of beautiful painting, drawing readers to realize something simultaneously beautiful, mysterious, and dangerous. This is the kind of book that one should read in short bursts and ponder for long periods.
